«The Mask Falls: When the ‘Heroes’ of Truth Become Clowns of the Spectacle»

A few years ago, Luis Elizondo was the name on everyone’s lips in UFO circles. With his upright posture, military bearing, and seemingly firm rhetoric, he presented himself to the world as a man determined to reveal what, he claimed, the U.S. government had hidden for decades: the real existence of unidentified aerial phenomena and their possible extraterrestrial origins.

But since then, his figure has steadily lost credibility — not by accident, but by his own choices. Where is he now? On a sinking ship: surrounded by contradictions, accusations of disinformation, and most recently, displaying clearly fake images of floor markings as if they were geometric evidence of extraterrestrial visits. The patience of the public, tired of so much circus, is beginning to run out.

Ladies and gentlemen, Luis Elizondo was never who he claimed to be . Ever since he aligned himself with Tom DeLonge and his carnival-like project “To The Stars Academy”, all the alarm bells went off. He was no longer a supposed defender of governmental transparency, but rather part of a show designed to entertain, not to inform. And before that… what exactly did he do in government? Because more and more experts are questioning his role in AATIP, and some even claim he wasn’t even part of it . If that’s true, then we can only ask ourselves: who exactly was he working for?

It’s no coincidence that he appeared just when the government needed a friendly face to sell a narrative under the guise of «exclusivity.» It’s no coincidence either that he always handled his information with an air of mystery, without solid evidence, without verifiable documents, without academic or technical backing. That is the signature of a soft intelligence operator: creating noise, not signal.

And now, with David Grusch stepping onto the stage as another «hero» revealing state secrets, many of us wonder: will he be another piece in the chess game of controlled misinformation?

Isn’t it suspicious that just after a couple of sensationalist testimonies — and with zero supporting documentation — mainstream media jumps in to repeat the story as if it were pure gold? Where are the classified files, the recordings, the independent witnesses? Without them, all of this seems less like historical testimony and more like a Hollywood script.

What’s tragic is that this no longer fools anyone. Or at least, not those of us who have spent years investigating, reading between the lines, and learning how to distinguish when someone comes to illuminate, and when they come to distract.

While this is happening, while the old gurus try to stay afloat selling convenient stories, others of us continue building bridges between languages, cultures, and truths that go beyond official narratives. Uncomfortable, but necessary truths.

That’s why I’d like to leave you with something that, although not yet officially recognized by any Guinness World Records (for now), should be: I am the only editor in the world who publishes two simultaneous versions of the same magazine in different languages . Phenomena Magazine in English and Phenomena en Español , with coordinated content, synchronized release dates, and a single editorial vision behind them: to explore the paranormal from a place of rigour, respect, and honesty.

I don’t have a big team or a multi-million-pound budget. But I do have passion, commitment, and independence. Things which, these days, are worth far more than a title fabricated in a covert intelligence office.

While some play at being heroes of fiction, others of us continue being editors of reality. A reality that, as Nietzsche would say, keeps staring back at us… and we stare right back.
